PRISM 2
The PRISM 2 is a fully enclosed circuit Rebreather, perfect for exploring open ocean, caves, or wrecks. This device can
be controlled electronically or manually, giving you the choice to maintain the loop PPO2 as you prefer. Comes with the
option of front-mounted counterlungs. When combined with the back mounted radial scrubber, the PRISM 2 offers effortless
breathing with minimal resistance and hydrostatic loading. Tested by ANSTI at 100M, it boasts the lowest WOB among all
mixed gas CCRs on the market. The standard package includes an electronic secondary control and primary LED displays
with a backplate/wing assembly, offering a complete kit ready for diving out of the box. Tanks and valves are sold
separately.
BACK MOUNTED COUNTERLUNGS
The Backmounted Counterlung positions the lungs behind the diver, freeing up the chest for attaching
additional tanks and accessories. This design enhances streamlining, reduces drag, and improves horizontal
trim.
Featuring a 2-piece bag design for enhanced WOB performance and easy removal of the internal lung for
cleaning or replacement. The ADV Upstream Valve design is dependable and resistant to free flow, making it
ideal for adding valuable diluent gas. Water Trapping T-pieces keep excess water from the breathing loop
inside the counterlung for easy drainage. Streamlined Hose Fittings route LP hoses closest to the diver,
minimizing overhead interference. The machined DIL and O2 MAV controls ensure a sturdy and reliable design,
allowing for offboard gas plugin on both sides.
Rear mounted radial scrubber
The PRISM 2 utilizes a user-packed, radial 5.5lb CO2 scrubber, providing optimal duration, insulation, and work
of breathing on the rebreather. The scrubber canister is vertically mounted on the backplate between twin supply
cylinders (one for oxygen and one for diluent). The clear scrubber bucket is molded from Engineered
Thermoplastic, ensuring proper installation, packing, and visual confirmation for positive loop integrity.
HIGH PERFORMANCE DSV and BOV
Every PRISM 2 comes complete with a DSV (Dive Surface Valve) as standard, with the BOV (Bailout Valve)
available as an option. The BOV features a high-performance regulator valve, is lightweight, and can be
directly bolted onto your PRISM 2 to replace the DSV. Considered a fundamental safety device by many
professionals, the PRISM 2 BOV meets the requirements for training in Technical rebreather courses.
Electronics
The electronics, sensors, and batteries are housed in the electronics head assembly at the top of the
scrubber, with supply hoses running over the diver’s shoulders into the top of the counterlungs. An
analog LED primary display provides a quick overview of unit performance with status and alarm
indicators, while an independent digital OLED secondary display confirms the unit’s performance.
