The beginning of a new underwater adventure starts with the first breath. The innovative combination of Venturi effect and inhalation effort adjustment is natural and easy to use. Aqualung’s Master Breathing System enables divers to adjust both with a simple rotation. Whether diving at any depth, in any condition, or on any dive – MBS will adjust accordingly.

• Auto Closure Device (ACD) prevents contamination and corrosive water from entering the first stage when not connected to a cylinder valve
• Preserves internal lubrication
• Keeps the inlet filter clean and dry
• Modern anti-freeze properties enhance cold-water performance
• Integrated dry chamber prevents ice formation on inner components
• Large heat exchange surface area prevents ice formation on the mechanism
• Overmolded cap delays ice formation on the external diaphragm
• Auto-Balanced Progressive increase of the working pressure to ensure optimum breathing efforts
• Ergonomically shaped DIN and YOKE screws for better grip
• Channeled YOKE screw to prevent water retention
• New front cover opening channels allow water flow sideways over the diaphragm
• Radial openings prevent freeflows in strong currents
• Widened openings reduce peak inspiratory flow
• Overmolded exhaust cover with a “soft touch” effect
• Wide surface area for easier regulator purging
• Purge depth controller optimizes air flow with minimal effort
• Patented Comfobite mouthpiece reduces jaw fatigue
• Detachable and reusable mouthpiece clamp for easy change
• Enlarged heat exchanger prevents freezing of the second stage mechanism
• Air channel deflector directs air flow evenly during inhalation
• Streamlined bi-material deflector reduces exhalation effort
• Flexible and lightweight Aqua Flex hose with dual protectors
