The mode switch allows for easy selection between “DS-TTL”, “RC mode”, and “Manual”, each distinguished by color.

Improved DS-TTL accuracy achieved through a newly designed light receiving sensor.
Detailed custom settings ensure high precision compatibility with cameras from different brands.

*When using TTL with non-OM SYSTEM (OLYMPUS) cameras, choose DS-TTL as the shooting mode.
*Prior custom settings required for each camera when using DS-TTL.

Improved RC System

The “RC System” is a flash system for OM SYSTEM digital cameras, with the YS-D3 DUO incorporating the RC mode in collaboration with OM Digital Solutions.

RC mode is a light control mode where flash output is automatically adjusted by the camera based on lens brightness. The YS-D3 DUO features a more precise “RC mode” developed with input from OM Digital Solutions.

*Flash output compensation can be adjusted on both strobe and camera sides when using RC mode due to system integration.
*Using RC mode can extend the camera’s battery life.
