The backplate is the foundation that supports the entire scuba diving setup. Highland backplates stand out due to their precise craftsmanship, featuring beveled edges and strategic slot placement.
- Constructed from 6061 aluminum alloy with a sleek black anodized finish
- Weighs 1 lb 11 oz (765 g)
- All edges are beveled to ensure comfort and durability for the harness
- 3 holes at the top provide adjustable height for attaching the air cell and cylinder. A lower oval slot accommodates misaligned lower band bolts
- Bottom slots fit 1 in (2.5 cm) or 2 in (5 cm) wide crotch straps
- Includes 3/8 in (9.5 mm) accessory mounting holes on the sides and bottom
