With a dedicated mold, Sea&Sea incorporates a meniscus lens design in the UDP dome construction to reduce spherical aberration and beam waste. This results in gradual refractive power changes from the center to the peripheral area, creating a clearer focus compared to conventional ports.

The UDP 210 ARII uses the highest optical grade PMMA material with a refractive index close to glass for high light transmission. Sea&Sea also applies a 7-layer Anti Reflective (AR) coating to minimize internal reflection and decrease contrast effects.

The dome is designed for easy replacement on the spot in any environment and comes with an additional bayonet mount for compatibility with 3rd party Nauticam housings.
