Features
Futuristic Universal Design
The back panel is designed to be large, with a back acrylic panel more than twice the size to enhance monitor visibility and reduce underwater weight. It’s a sustainable design for future camera compatibility with minimal part replacements.
Optical Fiber Cable Cover Redesign
Includes a newly designed fiber-optic cable cover to prevent terminals from falling out and protect light panels and cable terminals. Features a strap to prevent cover loss.
Standard Leak Alarm Unit
The previously optional Leak Alarm Unit is now included as standard equipment. Effective for early underwater flooding detection and equipment protection by checking waterproof performance before entry. Includes CR2032 lithium battery.

Strobe Synchro System
Offers three optional strobe connection methods.
1.Optical TTL connection
[Product No.50151] Optical YS Converter S2
Compatible with SEA&SEA’s “Optical YS Converter S1” for converting camera strobe signals to LED light, synchronizing with SEA&SEA YS strobe, and performing TTL auto light control.
* The Sony original adapter “ADP-MAA” is no longer required for camera connection.
Other Features
- Port Lock prevents port turning or loosening, with a strategically located Port Lock lever to prevent accidental unlocking.
Equipped with a lens-lock release button for easy lens changes without opening the housing. - Pulling out Focus/Zoom Dial creates more space inside for accommodating larger diameter lenses with ease.
- All controls feature luminescence stickers that glow in dark environments.
- Standard Optical Viewfinder 0.5x included, with optional viewfinders like VF180 1.2x, VF45 1.2x, and Optical Viewfinder 0.66x, 0.8x available for use.
※Some vignetting may occur with VF180 1.2x, obstructing the camera’s viewfinder upper part. - Equipped with two sacrificial zinc diodes to prevent electrolysis damage (one on the front case and one on the rear).
- Tripod screw mount located at the housing’s center underside.
- Includes under guard for scratch protection.
