Featuring a COB (LED) light source known for its even light distribution, the innovative design shapes the COB into a donut configuration. The wide light source sits on the donut, while the spot light LEDs are positioned at the center (donut hole). This setup ensures optimal lighting with the optical axis always at the center of the emitting surface, whether for wide or spot lighting.

02. Achieve the perfect ‘center light distribution’

Utilizing COB (LED) technology, known for its uniform light distribution, the original donut-shaped COB design guarantees ideal light distribution. The wide light source is positioned on the donut shape, with spot light LEDs placed at the center, ensuring optimal lighting for both wide and spot scenarios.

03. Clear elimination of multi-shadowing

COB technology eradicates ‘multi-shadows’ in both wide and spot lighting settings. This results in clear, sharp subject visibility, making it an excellent choice for imaging purposes.

4-step light adjustment (25% increments)
Adjust the light intensity in 4 steps (25% increments) by pressing the power/light adjustment button during operation. Each press cycles through 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% intensity levels, allowing you to adapt to different lighting conditions. The % display provides clear visibility of light intensity changes.

100-step light adjustment (1% increments)
Achieve precise light adjustments with 100 steps (1% increments) using the light intensity adjustment buttons on the left and right. The digital % display enables fine adjustments and provides a sense of control and accuracy.

Memory function
The light features a ‘memory function’ that restores the previous light intensity level when turned on. This function is particularly useful for video recording, as it maintains the same light intensity setting.

The light includes a ‘flash sensor function’ that detects strobe light and automatically turns off and on the light with a one-second delay. This feature ensures that the light doesn’t interfere with photography by reacting to strobe light emissions. The spot light serves as a focus light, while the wide light aids in subject identification and environment assessment without causing uneven exposure or color distortion.

All LX light series share the same body design, allowing interchangeability of light head parts. The LX-2400SW FS light head can function as a 2400lm light, while the LX-4000SW FS light head can be used as a 4000lm light when mounted on the LX-1200SW FS. *Configuration adjustments are necessary after changing the light head. 07. Dual battery charging options

Despite its compact size, the Li-ion battery boasts a large 3400mAh capacity and can be recharged in two ways.

1. Direct charging:
Easily charge the battery by connecting the provided dedicated rear charge plug to the charging connector terminal on the back of the light body. This eliminates the need to remove the battery, reducing the risk of water damage and saving time and effort.

2. Removable charging:
Detach the battery from the body for direct charging using a charger. With a compact battery size, having a spare ensures continuous power supply without interruptions. The removable design also facilitates easy transportation, especially during air travel.

08. User-friendly panel display

A color LCD panel presents various functions in a clear and visible manner. Critical information like ‘light intensity’ and ‘remaining lighting time’ are prominently displayed for easy monitoring underwater. Adjust light intensity using the panel buttons while viewing the display.

10. Compact body for easy handling

Featuring a spot light at the center of the donut-shaped wide light source, this design minimizes wasted light surfaces and results in a compact light head. With a palm-sized body and an underwater weight of just 163g, the ergonomic design ensures comfortable handling and ease of use during dives.

12. Four troubleshooting features

Safety Mode:
When the battery level is low, the battery indicator flashes and automatically reduces light intensity to 20%. The display shows ‘10min’ and begins counting down.

High Temperature Protection Mode:
If the light head reaches 55°C (131°F) or higher during use, the display indicates ‘HOT’ and activates protection mode, lowering the light intensity to 20% of the maximum.

Blinking Mode:
By simultaneously pressing the light intensity adjustment button (+) and the power/light adjustment button for about 2 seconds, the light blinks rapidly. This feature can serve as signaling aids during night dives or communication with dive buddies.

SOS Mode:
Activate the light’s SOS mode by pressing the light intensity adjustment button (-) and the power/light adjustment button simultaneously for about 2 seconds. The light starts blinking in SOS pattern, serving as an emergency distress signal for rescue purposes.
