ABOUT

Halcyon reels and spools have set the standard for quality construction and trouble-free use. Historically, guidelines were associated with navigation during cave dives. However, they are equally useful in a range of diving environments. From shooting a lift bag and marking an underwater location, to surveying wreck sites and sending up surface markers, you are sure to find a Halcyon product that fits your needs.

All Defender Proâ„¢ safety spools are sold with a stainless steel double ender and #24 line. The number in each Defender Proâ„¢ name describes the approx. length of line (in feet) on that spool. (includes double-ender)

Halcyon Manufacturing is well known for guideline-device innovations, having pioneered some of the most unique designs in technical diving. Now we are pleased to announce the dawn of a new generation of guideline devices. The new Halcyon Defender Pro series of guideline devices expands upon the time-tested utility of Halcyon Defender spools, by providing enhanced flexibility and unique operational advantages.
