Description

Halcyon – AURA SECOND STAGE REGULATOR

The Aura second stage regulator offers a streamlined, compact design that enhances the underwater breathing experience. This top-notch second stage provides a smooth and reliable airflow. Halcyon’s Aura second stage features a single adjustment control and a pre-set inhalation effort suitable for most diving scenarios, making it a popular choice as a backup regulator. Ideal for divers seeking a straightforward, ready-to-dive regulator, the Aura is also commonly used in training programs and rental equipment.

Classic downstream valve style regulators have a proven safety record and are widely recognized for their reliability. The downstream valve opens in the direction of the incoming airflow, with a spring balancing the force of the air. This design requires a slight inhalation to overcome the spring tension and open the valve. Factory-adjusted spring pressure ensures easy breathing and consistent performance. Any necessary adjustments can be made by your authorized Halcyon Service Technician.

The Air Control Vane (ACV) provides a secondary adjustment for divers to fine-tune their breathing experience. Utilizing vacuum-assist technology, the ACV reduces breathing effort and enhances diver comfort. This precision feature is available on all Halcyon second stages. When set to “dive,” the ACV delivers strong breathing support, while the “Halcyon” setting helps prevent free flows. This is particularly useful on the surface, in current-filled waters, while using a scooter, or when using the Aura as a backup regulator.
