Description
A versatile wing, the Rec Series is compatible with single or double tanks, making it a top choice for divers. The Gusset Control System keeps the wing streamlined when using single tanks, preventing the “taco” effect. With 45lbs/20.4 kg of lift, this wing can support two 85ft3/12 L back mounted cylinders.
Divers can opt for the durable 1680 ballistic nylon EXP material or the tough SuperFabric® XT material for added protection. The Rec EXP (Model BC 4300) and Rec XT (Model 5300) feature a heavy-duty 210 denier nylon laminated bladder.
Part of the modular BCD system, it can be paired with a TransPac® XT, Transplate, or any metal backplate and webbing harness.
Technical Details
- Model BC4300 Rec EXP features an outer bag made of tear and abrasion-resistant 1680 denier ballistic nylon.
- Model BC5300 has a SuperFabric brand technology outer shell and a 1680 ballistic nylon diver’s side panel for added durability.
- The inner bladder is made of heavy-duty 210 denier nylon laminated bladder, resistant to pinches and punctures.
- Urethane flanges are welded in place for easy hose and valve replacements without tools.
- Equipped with a choice of 16-inch rapid exhaust (pull dump) or elbow, along with various low-pressure inflation hose lengths.
- Features two sets of marine-grade 316 stainless steel grommet mounting holes for secure attachment to harness or double tanks.
- Approximate dimensions when uninflated: 24-in H x 23-in W (60.9cm x 58.4cm)

Tips
- For transport, remove metal backplates from the wing to prevent damage. Avoid carrying a metal plate in the same bag as the wing and other soft goods.
