Description
A small device that converts the camera’s TTL signal to a light signal. The converter can be attached to the camera’s accessory shoe and can be linked to (a) SEA&SEA strobe(s) with Fiber-Optic Cable(s) (*). TTL and manual modes can be changed by pressing the mode switch on the housing.

Sea&Sea Optical Converter Firmware Update for YS-D3
Sea&Sea recently introduced firmware for updating current S&S Optical Converts out in the field to provide YS-D3 compatibility.
To update current S&S Optical Converters, please reach out to your local Sea&Sea Dealer or Sea&Sea Distributor.
Please be aware that the YS-110α position is used on current Optical Converters for YS-D3 functionality.
The updated Optical Converters shipping from October 2020 are now compatible with D3. These updated Optical Converters are identified by a “D3” position.
Note: Following the completion of updates on existing units in the field, all Optical converters shipped after October 2020 will not work with YS-110α strobes.
