Perfect Trim and Stability for the Most Discerning Divers

Mastering good trim and maintaining a stable position underwater is often the most challenging skill for new technical divers. Experienced divers want equipment that enhances their performance, not something they have to compensate for. The HYDROS was specifically designed to ensure that the wing buoyancy perfectly aligns with the gas center of gravity in your twinset.

Regardless of the wing’s inflation level or the remaining cylinder pressure, the system’s trim remains consistent throughout the dive.

Efficient Valve Shutdowns for Quicker Response

The last thing you need during a valve emergency is a bulky wing slowing down your reaction time. Enhancements in shutdowns and valve management have been achieved by minimizing the wing volume in the valve area and hose routing section.

You can easily set up a clean and organized hose routing system, ensuring your valves are always visible and accessible.

Decreased Drag with Uncompromised Buoyancy

Smaller contour wings offer reduced drag and a lower risk of entanglement. In traditional twinset BCD designs, reducing the wing contour typically results in reduced overall buoyancy. Not with the HYDROS.

By minimizing the dead zone in the central part of the bladder, the HYDROS reduces the wing contour while maintaining the necessary buoyancy. A clever design solution!
