COSTA MESA, CA – Introducing the revolutionary BC2 Back Inflation buoyancy compensator (BC) by Atomic Aquatics – the newest addition to the acclaimed BC series. The BC2 is the evolution of the popular jacket-style BC1, redefining conventional BC design. Utilizing the same unique materials and patented features as the BC1, including the EZ-LOK integrated weight system and CAM-LOK ratcheting tank band.

“The BC2 is truly remarkable,” stated Dean Garraffa, co-founder and president of Atomic Aquatics. “After the success of the BC1, we knew we had to create something special with the BC2. We applied the same high-quality materials and engineering to deliver a back inflation model for divers seeking that BC style,” Garraffa explained.

The BC2 is crafted from an exclusive, durable double-laminated polyurethane coated waterproof fabric. The custom matte-finish fabric is waterproof on both sides, ensuring quick dryness post-dive and long-lasting performance.

“The durability of the BC1 speaks for itself, with testimonials proving its longevity,” declared Garraffa. “We’ve used the same materials for the BC2 to ensure superior quality and performance.”

BC2 provides exceptional flotation, balance, and comfort. It is neutrally-buoyant, eliminating the need for additional weight to counteract positively buoyant materials. Divers will feel securely positioned and comfortable during their dive with the BC2.

A silicone retraction band, connected to the outer flotation cell, retracts neatly into a protective sleeve under the weight pocket. The quick-drying silicone material ensures longevity compared to elastic webbing.

Atomic Aquatics’ BC2 is the result of a meticulous design process, with engineers reimagining every detail to create a product that exceeds expectations.

The BC2 also features Atomic’s patented EZ-LOK Integrated Weight Release System for easy weight loading in or out of the water and the ratcheting CAM-LOK Tank Band for quick and secure tank mounting.
