Please note that due to a facility relocation, some products from Apeks and Aqualung may take a month or longer to ship.
The MTX-R regulator is an evolution of the MTX, designed and tested for extreme cold water conditions by the United States Navy Experimental Dive Unit. Featuring innovative design elements, the MTX-R excels in freezing water at depths exceeding 60 meters, a capability few regulators in the consumer market can match. The unique first-stage design prevents ice buildup around the diaphragm, ensuring the MTX-R is dependable, durable, and ready for challenging expeditions. The regulator includes an over-moulded first-stage end cap and an environmental diaphragm to prevent ice accumulation that could lead to free flow in extreme situations.
