Description
Experience the iconic Zeagle first stage paired with a cutting-edge flagship 2nd stage. The outcome? The most superior diaphragm regulator currently available in the market.
Through a collaboration with Atomic Aquatics, we have implemented over 20 enhancements, ranging from internal mechanisms and materials to external controls and appearance. The F8 delivers improved breathing performance, durability, and longevity surpassing all previous regulators we have produced.
The F8 1st stage features a dry-sealed spring chamber (to prevent freezing in water temperatures below 40 degrees F). All sensitive components, including the main spring, are shielded behind the transparent hydrostatic diaphragm away from water contaminants, ensuring an environmentally sealed design. Its low-profile structure barely protrudes above the tank valve and positions the low-pressure hoses outward to the sides, a configuration favored by many divers.
Innovative Neoflon seat:
Our meticulously crafted high-pressure valve offers enhanced reliability and service life compared to conventional designs, while enhancing responsiveness and performance at all breathing rates.
Work of breathing at heavy* demand:
0.72 Joule/Liter
*198 (60M) depth, 750 psi inlet, 62.5 RMV (liters per minute respiratory volume)
Just like all Zeagle regulators, The Flathead-7 is factory configured for use with EAN/ NITROX up to 40% O2.
- Balanced diaphragm design and the environmentally sealed ambient chamber ensure top-notch performance in any environment.
- Redesigned environmental seal cap and yoke knob improve ergonomics and design aesthetics.
- Precision machined neoflon seat utilizes a tougher and more reliable material, extending your dive time.

- New inhalation diaphragm offers superior tear strength and quicker response time to breathing (soft silicone molded over a low friction disk).
- Improved exhaust valve ensures dryness and reduces exhalation effort.
- Seat-saving orifice courtesy of Atomic Aquatics, retracts when not in use, prolonging the life of the breathing tube seat. (#5,803,073)
- Seat consists of soft silicone molded over a metal insert to provide the necessary firmness for an airtight seal while retaining the elasticity to prevent leaks.
- Redesigned front cover and inhalation effort control knob utilize co-molded components for a secure grip, soft touch, and ease of use. Available in various color options.
- Zirconium-plated inlet tube and heat sink offer superior corrosion resistance.
- Redesigned heat sink significantly increases surface area, aiding in heat exchange to prevent freezing.
- Co-molded silicone mouthpiece for improved fit and reduced jaw fatigue.
