FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES OF THE SV SERIES HIGH-PERFORMANCE SNORKELS

The Scupper Valve (SV) design ensures self-drainage and effortless clearing. The Posi-lock flex retainer secures the flex section and mouthpiece. The dual silicone mouthpiece prevents teeth clenching that can restrict airflow. The rotational mouthpiece with ratchet indicators enhances usability. The SV1 features a conical flared top for superior breathing performance, while the SV2 Semi-dry top limits water splashes entering the breathing tube.

OPTIMAL DESIGN WITH CONICAL FLARED TOP

Each snorkel model in the SV Series includes the Scupper Valve at the bottom mouthpiece section. Divers have the option to choose tops that best suit their requirements. The SV1 design incorporates a conical flared top for maximum airflow, making it ideal for calm waters or challenging swimming conditions. Despite water entering the open top, the internal tube airway remains dry. Clear any water trapped below the mouthpiece with a quick burst of exhaled air. The flexible lower section conveniently drops the mouthpiece out of the way when not in use.

SV SERIES OPERATIONAL MECHANISM

Similar to the one-way Scupper Valve on a boat, the lower sections of both the SV1 and SV2 (semi-dry) allow for easy water expulsion. If water enters the top of the snorkel, it bypasses the mouthpiece entirely and exits through the purge valve. The internal tube contains a small one-way Scupper flap valve to prevent water accumulation, ensuring the diver can easily clear any trapped water below the mouthpiece with a burst of air. This innovative system is simple, effective, and patent pending!
