Guidelines for Adhering Glue-On Thigh Pockets

Placement:
We strongly advise against guessing the position of the pocket, as achieving
precision can be challenging. Wear your exposure suit and BCD, then mark
the exact location with a grease pencil where you desire the pocket to be. Ideally,
the pocket should be directly underneath and slightly above where your hand naturally rests on your thigh,
allowing your fingers to access the bottom of the pocket easily.
Some sidemount divers are opting to position the pocket on the back of their thigh. Subsequently,
remove your exposure suit, lay it flat, and get ready to affix the pocket.

Adhesion:
Prepare the surface of the suit where the pocket will be attached by applying a small amount
of Cotol 240 or toluene (not provided). Rub it with a clean, lint-free cloth until dry.
Using the included small applicator brush, apply the entire ¾ oz. tube
of AquaSeal, dividing it equally between the suit and the back of the pocket. Allow 10
minutes to pass. Attach the pocket to the suit. Place a large, flat object like a
book or board on top, then add dive weights or a similar substitute.
Leave it to cure for a minimum of 24 hours. Refrain from attempting to lift it to inspect
during this 24-hour period.
