Description

A small device that changes the camera’s TTL signal into a light signal. The converter can be attached to the camera’s accessory shoe and linked to SEA&SEA strobes with Fiber-Optic Cables. Users can easily switch between TTL and manual modes by pressing the mode switch on the converter’s housing.

Sea&Sea Optical Converter Firmware Update for YS-D3

Sea&Sea has recently introduced firmware updates for existing S&S Optical Converters in the market to support YS-D3 compatibility.
To update existing S&S Optical Converters, kindly reach out to your local Sea&Sea Dealer or Distributor.
Please be aware that the YS-110α position is repurposed for YS-D3 functionality in updated Optical Converters.

Optical Converters shipped from October 2020 onwards are equipped with the necessary updates for D3 compatibility, distinguished by a “D3” marking.

Note: Post-update, all Optical Converters, including those shipping after October 2020, will not work with YS-110α strobes.
