* If using the YS-D1 with a non-SEA&SEA housing, a Strobe Mask Set and Fiber-Optic Cable may be necessary.
* It is recommended to use genuine SEA&SEA Fiber-Optic Cables for optimal functionality. Third-party Fiber-Optic Cables may lead to improper operation (especially TTL auto exposure functions).

Avoid using non-recommended batteries (e.g., lithium primary batteries) as they can cause leakage, overheating, and potentially result in the strobe rupturing, leading to personal harm.

Equipped with the advanced DS-TTL ll circuitry found in Sea&seas premium models

The DS-TTL ll circuitry automatically adjusts light output based on the camera flash intensity. This feature enables easy adjustment of light intensity for both inexperienced and seasoned underwater photographers. For instance, with two YS-01 Solis strobes positioned on either side of your subject, you can reduce the light intensity on one side simply by adjusting the control. The improved circuitry facilitates effortless lighting adjustments for all your underwater shots.

Enhanced target light intensity
The YS-01 Solis provides 40% stronger target light intensity compared to its predecessor, improving visibility of the light axis and allowing for more accurate strobe positioning.

Optimal light distribution and wide beam angle
Thanks to its specially designed prism lens, the YS-01 Solis offers a wide 100°x 100° beam angle with uniform light distribution, even without the diffuser. Attaching the diffuser softens the light and expands the beam angle to 110°x 110°
