Light Monkey wings are made entirely in the USA using the finest materials available, and the final assembly is done in our Lake City, Florida facility

The outer bag is crafted from 1680 denier ballistic nylon, selected for its tear strength and abrasion resistance.

The bladder is constructed from 15 mil virgin medical-grade polyether urethane. Polyether (as opposed to polyester) is better suited for water-exposed applications. Its stretch helps prevent point loads on the welds and is the perfect match for our denier ballistic nylon outer bag; resulting in a quieter wing than nylon-laminated bladders.

The zipper is a 10 mm Vislon non-corrosive zipper with a locking slider. This zipper is a standard choice for marine applications; you’ll see the same quality on boat tops, sail covers, and more.

The wing comes with a 13″ crush-proof hose, two 2″ EDM bands for hose routing, and a standard K-style power inflation valve. The inflation hose is positioned in the middle of the wing to avoid interference with hose routing on either the left or right post of a doubles set.

The Light Monkey 45 lb wing provides a true 45 lbs of lift. The back plate cutout matches our backplate in size and shape, preventing gas from becoming trapped between the backplate and wing.
