UPDATED MARCH 2021

Crafted for durability and comfort, the TransPac XT by Dive Rite is a top-of-the-line harness. Modeled after a mountaineer’s backpack, it efficiently distributes weight over the diver’s hips and back rather than the shoulders. Featuring high density foam pads on the shoulders and waist, along with a lumbar support pad, it ensures exceptional comfort both above and below the surface.

Initially conceptualized by Dive Rite CEO Lamar Hires for his explorations in the remote Karst regions of Japan, this harness system was designed to withstand challenging conditions. From backmounted doubles to sidemount in tight cave passages, the TransPac XT offers versatility. Furthermore, it needed to be comfortable for trekking tanks through dry caves.
