The Nomad XT offers ultimate streamlining for divers. A balanced sidemount rig shouldn’t need extra weight on the shoulders. Divers with heavy tanks or new to sidemount often resort to makeshift solutions for trim problems. Our redesigned offroad sidemount rig features a new wing design. The Nomad XT wing is narrow at the neck, angled at the sides, and provides extra lift at the bottom, focusing on lifting at the hips.

We relocated the inflator to the center, behind the neck, and added an extra OPV at the bottom. Divers can now switch these components and still have an OPV dump at the wing’s bottom for safe gas release when inverted.

For divers with a TransPac® harness looking to create a Nomad, the Nomad XT is available. It comes in a single (BC4600) or dual bladder (BC4550-DUAL) option with 50lbs/22.6 kg of lift. The unique bladder design allows conversion from a single to a dual bladder wing in the future if desired.

The XT Wing Series utilizes SuperFabric® technology, a durable fabric resistant to cuts and abrasions. The SuperFabric material is overlaid with guard plates, providing protection without sacrificing flexibility and breathability. Dive Rite combines SuperFabric with a 1000 denier Cordura® inner shell for an armor-clad outer bag that resists damage.

Constructed with toughness in mind, the XT line features a heavy-duty, 210 denier nylon laminated bladder. All Dive Rite wings are proudly made in the U.S.A.
