Dive Rite – Chest Mount CCR Scooter Ring
Some divers have found it challenging to scooter or use a DPV with the “Choptima.” Dive Rite has introduced a straightforward solution to address this issue, making scootering with your Chest Mount Rebreather effortless.
To use, simply position the webbing in the center of your counter lung bags with the bolt snap oriented towards your body. Once your unit is on, attach the bolt snap to your standard DPV ring on your harness. Now, you can easily clip the DPV onto the new scooter ring, which is more accessible for use with on-board O2.
Another advantage is its ability to assist in pulling the unit down in case of it riding up during use.
