The Dive Rite Adjustable Bungee System (ABS) allows for quick and easy customization to suit any sidemount diver. The bungee cord is threaded through a specially designed, laser cut Delrin plate, offering an adjustable bungee that can be tailored to any size. Thanks to the unique weaving pattern, the bungee can securely hold even the heaviest steel tanks without slipping. No need for knots or tools- simply loosen the weave at the plate, adjust to the desired length, and tighten back up. Easily fine-tune your sidemount system and adapt to different tank sizes or exposure protection thicknesses. Perfect for instructors and rental programs needing to quickly adjust the bungees for their customers.

The Adjustable Bungee System can easily switch between Dive Rite’s standard ring bungee system, loop bungees with a snap, or traditional loop bungees. Just unweave the bungee, add or remove hardware as needed, and re-weave. Attach the bungees effortlessly to any of Dive Rite’s sidemount harnesses using the daisy chain webbing attachment point. Alternatively, they can be attached to any small D-ring or quick link on the side of a standard backplate or harness.

The ABS utilizes top-notch, tightly woven 1/4″ bungee for durability and just the right amount of elasticity. If the bungee gets damaged, it can be easily replaced in the field.

The system includes the bungee, weaving plate, and ring bungee hardware, consisting of a 2″ stainless steel ring, medium quick link, and medium bolt snap.
